The objective

Promote the Walk for Women march

Walk for Women

Process:
Campaign.

Application:
Print, digital, social media and outdoor.

This campaign was designed to stand out from the crowd. It’s bold, in your face and outspoken – all of the things Walk for Women embraces. The idea was to stylistically represent walking in the footsteps of women both past and present. The black boot in the top right is a suffragette, while the more modern sneaker following closely behind, is an example of today's woman. The aim of the campaign was to encourage people, no matter what their gender, to join in and be part of a revolution that started over a hundred years ago. In a sense, today's participants are becoming a part of history, but at the same time, writing the next chapter in women's rights.

“The client wanted a visual that depicted women both past and present, this approach seemed to do just that.”

“A bold illustration helped create a defining image for the city’s main event”.
